Though low in alcohol, this wine is fairly rich and extracted, presumably a sign of its extended age. Dark in the glass, it begins with concentrated aromas of black plum, chocolate syrup and Dr Pepper spice. The thick mouthfeel carries ripe blackberry flavors. — Matt Kettmann
